I used Google SketchUp to finish my basement and it worked great. You just have to take the time to learn to use it. You can't just jump on and go, but any software will be the same. Using software is kinda like a paint job...a good job is in 99% prep work.
I agree. And the tank isn't really even white, it's a stupid cream colored white...just lame.
I don't have a problem with the red, but my kids want a blue cart and insisted the engine be blue too. This project is for the kids, so I'm going with as much of their input as I can.
I plan on getting a new emblem for it. I went to one "dealer" today, but they couldn't figure out how to order it and told me to go to another dealer. I'll try again next week.

Not too worried about it. I have three boys that will be riding it. That engine will NEVER have the chance to move on to another owner, they'll drive this thing into the ground.
New paint on go kart engine. Nothing like spending the money on a brand new, out of the box Honda engine and painting it up to look like a cheap Harbor Freight clone. Oh well, I wanted the engine to be the same color as the kart.
