i looked and did not see a set screw but will check again between the motor and clutch. On the outside there are two holes for a set screw but none there...How are you tapping it off? There is very little room to work with a hammer and punch. I already tried a slide hammer using a double claw.
The clutch is shot...outer cover gone, missing springs and one the shoes is cracked. I have it soaking with PB breakfree so hopefuly I can get it off without having to ersort to drastic measures.
OK here are the pics. I believe the driven pulley is not the TC type and the pillow bearing is one piece. I should be able to replace all this at the local northern tool. the front steering is all crooked but shoud be just adjustments to the tie rids.
The accelerator does not actuate the cable...
The clutch looks like it is missing the outer cover and there is a knocking noise coming from the area (not rod knock) when at idle. I thought when I gave it a quick once over that the pully on the other end of the belt was just that...a pully not a driven clutch. I was planning on upgrading...

Its a Honda 5.5 horizontal engine with the PTO shaft on the drivers side and mounted in the center of the frame (rear). The clutch appears busted even though the kart will drive, it makes alot of...
