    if it's a 2 cylinder 2 cycle points sled motor all you need for it to run are 2 wires. Each coil needs a power wire. Find the 2 wires that power up when each cylinder is at TDC. They should power up oppisite of each other. Then to kill the motor all you need is a switch that connects those 2...

    I'm an electrician by trade. Been working in machine automation for the last 10 years in one form or another. Mostly fabrication, penumatics and PLC programming) Curently working for a high end Kitchen Cabinetry company. I'm the maintenance supervisor/ machine builder / fabricator.

    I scrapped the whole idea. I mad a nice traditional 2 idler pulley belt clutch.
