Hey thanks nosandwich! Double checked the oil and it had too much! Smh ( my son the mechanic) put too much in! I drained it n filled to correct mark. Started right up with half a pull. No smoke and no Tecumseh tears! Lol ! She’s purring like a kitten now! Thanx guys

Hey guys I have a manco quicksilver, had for years and no issues till last week , it’s leaking oil thru the carb and smoking real bad. What is the issue ? And is it worth fixing or should I replace the engine?

I have a 6.5 Tecumseh engine and the carburetor is leaking oil and it’s also smoking bad. What is wrong with this and is it worth fixing? This is the first time in years it is giving me any issues. What should I do?
