Well i havent built it yet but ive ridden shifter and spec karts before at a track and im gonna build it with a full size frame and suzuki lt230 quadsport 4 stroke engine
Im 15
I am confused on how things are set. What are the different types of on road racing and what different size engines are used in each? I am new and dont know where else to ask
What would be the best gearing for a predator 212 engine on a shifter kart frame? I want a ratio that will give me good bottom end but still god top end power. Any suggestions?
Well most posts that ive looked at on other forums say that they experience better performance with two of lets say 5hp creating 10hp than a single 10hp engine
Reason being that two engines that are 5hp will run the same top speed as a single 5hp but get there alot faster
with the right...
Tire size-18" rear 16" front
Terrain- Rough/moderate
Im not sure what the wight will be, the drivers will both be around 120
And the arachnid kart im guessing like 200 or 250 :/
okay. does can somebody tell me what ratio the gearing needs to be or how many teeth.
i need a ratio that will give me the most overall power out of the twin engines
Both engines will still have the governor.
Ive heard something about self synchronization by being forced to drive the same axle.
What your guys thoughts on this?
I would like to put two hf predators on the arachnid go kart im making. What are the pros and cons. What should the gearing be?
Please dont tell me one is better because that is not what im looking for.
