    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

It definitely survived, I ripped it around the property at home the other day for about 45 min. Climbed some hills and ran around through the woods and the pasture. The mad dash to get it ready is over, of course, but I am still planning on making those upgrades to it, and just making it better...

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

I out rode a lot of folks there who were on much more capable machines. That YD was not given a break the whole time.

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

@BaconBitRacing It did well! Lowered the tire pressure a good bit to make my life a little easier. The rear "shocks" don't do squat, so when I replace them I am going to alter the geometry of the mounting in the back so they can actuate a little easier. Also replacing the rear pivot points with...

    yerf dog 3203 help....

Something to remember on the Yerf-Dogs, they have no bushings. Anywhere. At all. These things were designed to last for about as long as the child they were bought for would use them. After the kid outgrew or grew out of the machine, it would be pretty much worn out anyway and ready for the...

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

It does have a good bit of play, which I am slowly taking out of it one washer/bushing at a time. I definitely wanted it to handle better and immediately started working on it as soon as I had time. My turning radius isn't bad, all things considered. Especially once you remember that there isn't...

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

Exactly. The damn thing squeaks and squawks and rubs all over. I am slowly adding bushings, washers, larger bolts, etc to tighten everything up, add wearing surfaces and quieten it down a little.

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

Yeah, overall it was nice. I was disappointed in the build quality though. No bushings, metal on metal, very loose pivot joints, etc. I haven't modified anything as far as cutting and welding goes. I just want to bring it up to the level it should have been when leaving the factory.

    Yerf-Dog 3200 Build/Modifications

Hello All! Starting this thread to post pictures and progress of my Nerf-Dog 3200. I have replaced/repaired/retrofitted/upgraded a lot of components on this kart so far. I will get some more photos this weekend of all the things I have done. Stay tuned!

Two new (to me) karts! The addiction begins.

Hey all. Small update. Engine has been removed from the YerfDog and a new Predator has been bought. After removing the engine and torque converter, I noticed that the jackshaft has seen better days as well as the jackshaft bearings. Ordering new tires and jackshaft, sourcing the bearings...

Always. I still have parts for cars I don't even own anymore!

Two new (to me) karts! The addiction begins.

Definitely not looking to jump stuff at all since that isn't my idea of fun, but I do appreciate a good actual shock vs a spring and tube. As for the tires, I have ran some like that before on a go kart growing up. They worked well but these are pretty dry cracked and need to be replaced just...

Two new (to me) karts! The addiction begins.

Yeah, my best friend and I are big ATC geeks. He has a 250r, a 250sx, a 250 Big Red, a ATC70 with a CR80 engine swap, and also a Honda Pilot FL400R. I have my very first ATC110 and not much else at the moment other than my Yamaha XT350 Dual Sport. I will be purchasing the Big Red from him at...

Two new (to me) karts! The addiction begins.

Yeah, I enjoy knobby tires on most of my power sports. I am a huge fan of them on my ATC's, they just...work, and are reasonably priced, light, don't pack up, etc.

The little Manco has a disc rear brake and looks pretty legit, the YD has a band style. Any reason to keep the band and not put a mechanical disk on the YD?
