Okay so pulled the the motor, decided to rebuild it. Pretty sure the axle is a diffential type. As for the brake my caliper appears to float on the mounting bolts that are attach to the bracket. It's a til-0-matic brand caliper and can't seem to find any for sale anywhere. Will any of the manual...

Yep, not a word Smith! I can get more pics, however the chain is off and still in one piece. Not sure how it hopped the sprocket, all of the teeth look good. Pics #2 shows the large sprocket and brake assembly, and pic #5 shows the torque converter and you can see the axle. You can see the...

Good catch, JT, didn't notice it in the first post. Guess that engine's not the titts for my build! Oh forgot to mention I do hear a clunk noise if I to k the tire forward and back while lifted, not while rolling on the ground though. Has anybody seen this axle setup before?

Sorry been tied up with work and stuff. Jacked up the rear end and spun the tires. Rotated right tire clockwise and left tire spun counter clockwise. If I only lift the right tire it will spin. Acts like an LSD, however no differental, or gear box. So? Live axle would spin both in same...

Well, called American landmaster and no luck, so talking to there tech he was just as puzzled, so sent him he same pics to see if it would help in further identification. As far as the motor swap I'd rather do the VC 460 seeing how I can get it on sale for $330 shipped. However, I don't think...

Thanks for the input guys definitely gives me a direction to go with. Seems like I have an oddity of a cart/atv. Not looking to go crazy with mods just a fresh motor, brakes, por 15 the frame, safety netting, add cross bar for 5 point harness and some cheap summit race seats, add some paneling...

Yah now assumeing based off similar pics and a few I found on letgo that look identical. Mane difference I've seen is the motor and axle setups. Frame looks the same but nothing else. Really confusing.

Thanks, those look close. However this does not have a gearbox or reverse, fenders and all the other do-dads. The brake diagram is super helpful. Thanks again. It appears the torque converter goes to the jackshaft then sprocket and gear at the axle. Which begs the question on axle type live or...

Hello, I posted my intro and info on this cart in the appropriate forum but figured there might be more traffic here. As you can see it's seen better days. It is the original motor, the plate is so weathered I can even read the numbers on it. Obviously looking to swap motor (tittleston 10hp)...

New guy, reunited with an old friend ( manco duece )

Hello all, I just re-accuired the manco duece I grew up with. Needless to say it has seen better days since moving out and starting a family. All I know about it is that it has the 8hp Briggs flathead motor. There's only one sticker left that has the serial number. I know the brakes are seized...
