    Thanks Doc, That is what I was thinking. It will be solid! lol but I will use round tubing for the mini bike portion. This is my 1st kit, but not my 1st RODEO :)

    Q. on framing material

    I have some left over 1 1/2" x 2" thick wall material left over from a boat rack, for a truck. I would like to use it for a small OFF ROAD quad ( sm child ) 3-5 hp. Is there a weight-frame guideline? Since you are here, has anyone built a grasshopper? (mini bike frame set on a kart frame)...

    framing material First post, so I would like to thank everyone in advance for future help. Q. I have some left over material from a boat rack, I build for my truck. It is heavy gauge 1 1/2" x 2" is this too heavy for a frame for a go kart (sm child)?
