Spent some time working on the drivetrain. Not much room back there, I think I'm going to have to locate a shorter belt for the tc. Gunna order some parts tonight.. Rack and pinion, belt, sprockets and fittings to fab the exhaust.

Danny, thanks. I have realized it wants to roll. Not sure what I'm going to do about it yet. Either add another tube or weld the one tube to the brackets and turn them into swingarms.

Anyone ever put rack and pinion on a kart? What are the benefits?

The seat is not at the the finished height in the pictures. its sitting about two and a half inches higher. once its mounts his head will be a good 4 inches below the roll bar. the seat base is about 5 to 6 inches high so once his head starts poking out i can pull the seat and go with a...
