does anyone know if bikes with small engines (50cc probably) are legal in the UK without a license?

So i'm making a frame for my go kart but i don't know which is better square box section or rectangle and i'd like to know which is easier to use which is cheaper and any other things you can. Think of thanks for your time

well i got the chainsaw form a tip near where i live but they have decent condition bikes there (they even had a ride on lawn mower which i was so tempted by) but i will get a bike from there, check it, buy some parts for it then build it but after that i would like to start getting into go...

hey anyone else from the uk here? :wai: i'm 16 and i live in the south west in Devon I've just started having interest in motor and go karts and would like to learn more and also race them. If you have any tips about welding or know any places near devon where people race go karts i would love...
