Maybe I was not clear with what I had in mind, This would be for a go kart around my yard. You see not every one has 10+ acres to ride on. But I do have a 1 car garage That has power all over it, so I dont have to worry about pulling power from 100 ft away. And I try not to carry an extra 50...
I would say yes to being hollow, on the fordson. Now these are are for sure hollow. In the video go to 1:35. http://www.icechallenger.com/icechallenger/ice-adsl.htm
"110 volts FAIL" Are you for real? What would be better for you, 3 phase 460 volts. I like it because on a cold day that first start is a pain in the @$$, Once its warm I have no problem pull starting it.;)
Talk about an upgrade.:idea2:
Wish that come with every thing that has a pull start.

I will give it to those guys, that's some bad @$$ S#!%, but in deep snow it will probably get stuck. That's why I liked the screw drive, it doesn't matter how deep the snow is.
That reminds me of an old bicycle I had, it had a little generator that was powered by the wheel. Just flip it down to contact the wheel and the headlight would come on when you pedaled. The faster you went the brighter it was.
