I just recently was given a Screamin Green Machine kart, 5 hp Subaru, excellent shape. It needed a new chain and tires. Well, we got it going but it just does not like to turn. THis is sort of an off road kart, we run it on our little dirt track. I tried toeing the front tires out about 1/4"...

Just scored some really nice 4" rims for the kart project. I definitely want to go with slicks. I was thinking 4.10x3.50-4. Any ideas on sources for these? thanks in advance, Gary

Yes, it will kind of run fine if you go easy on the gas under a load, but while I nhave it sittign up on a milk crate, it runs, idles, revs great.... thanks for any an all suggestions..

Howdy, I have a B/S 5hp, on an old Manco kart, I've replaced the muffler with 12" pipe, taken off the carb, cleaned it, new diaphragm, gaskets, (B/S carb overhaul kit) and removed the governor linkage(external, did not go inside the motor). The thing sounds sweet when I have it up on a milk...

Hey fellow kart folks! Just found this. I have a couple fo older karts, an old Manco with a briggs 5hp and a older Yamaha KT100 chassis with a WKA 5hp which looks like a briggs to me. Anyway, we been building these up and now have made a dirt track in our yard so off we go. thanks Mean Machine...
