    Off start bog

i think you might need to up jet the idle circuit, have you tried messing with the mix screw? if you havent try to turn it out or in a turn or two, and see if it improves any. other than up jetting, try cleaning the carb, as there might be some junk in the tank.

Seems like I'm not getting the power / speed I should be getting

sounds like the valves are floating, did you upgrade the valve springs? as stock ones tend to float around 5000rpms. try adding some 18lb valve springs and see if it improves. assumeing its a 196cc clone.

    Coleman CC100X Torque Converter

there should be a screw that you can turn in that limits the throttle some, so the engine doesn't rev up as much if not id probably get the lightest spring that you can find to engage the torque converter.

well, consider this, what do you want out of the bike? in my experience, id upgrade the tires first, my baja warrior tires were no good on anything past light gravel BUT try out the bike for more then just one month, id say a good 3 months then see what you want to upgrade. a stage one kit...

    Budget pit bike

for the razer, your best bet is a pocket bike motor, it should bolt right on where the eletric motor went. going to cost you about 100$ all said and done (motor + throttle + chain and sprocket) for the pit bike, id use the forks you mentioned on trying on the razer (they wont fit without...

ive snapped my fair share of bike frames (one was a diamondback, the other was a marlin) guess you cant do downhill mountain biking on a xc bike... but anyway, those will be reinforced, i havent done it yet (been busy doing other things) and if i find a set of better tires ill put them on.

    Budget pit bike

ohh, its one of those lol it was probably a electric version, you can swap a pocket bike engine.(get the 50$ ones on ebay, ive had good luck with those ones) just need to drill some holes and it should just bolt into place.

    Budget pit bike

that bike looks like it had a 50cc or a 70cc on it originally (110s and 125s are taller bikes, they can go around 50mph stock) a 125 should be more thne enough for this bike (the 150s are a longer motor, so you might be hitting the front wheel) looks like a good project, should be a blast!

its 3/16 steel, it should hold up just fine after reinforcing.

Well, ive ran with harbor freight tires before, there ok for around 20mph (this is about the top speed i want without brakes) I ended up getting the 13in ones, there the new one piece design vs the old 2 piece. But i will be checking them everytime i ride (trust me, the head tube on this...
