The float may be stuck. A lot of times you can tap on the bowl with a screwdriver handle and it will free up. That's the first thing I try when I have a bowl stuck. If that doesn't fix it I then pull the bowl off.

I wanted to use golf cart parts like the rear axle and front end for mine until I got to checking dimensions. My body is only 6' long and 3' wide and the golf carts I checked on were about a foot wider and longer than my car. If your body is the right size I'd say go for it. You'd be a lot...

That's pretty cool! If you need any info on where I bought my wheels and tires let me know I'll be happy to share. Also if you're going with a more traditional go kart frame I found sets of go kart hubs on ebay that will work with these wheels.

I finished up my front hubs this weekend and one of the bushings I'll use on the front a-arms and rear swingarm. I also have a few extra pictures on my photobucket page also.

Thanks for the complements. Yes, the engine is just a little Honda clone 6.5hp with electric start. I didn't want to have to raise the body to start it. :) And yes the body is really nice, guess you get what you pay for. Really the only place I'll have to do any body work is across the back...
