I don't think you can fix it also.... I've tried many ways to try to get into the spring, but nothing works.... So the last thing I did was torch that crap to see if I can close that cramped/hole part.... But end up messing it up so I just threw it away and order a new one.... Hopefully it fits :(

Yeah I also try hitting with a hammer/flathead.... But can't get the hole to close to take off the housing.... I also tried searching for a new one, but can't find it

I just bought an 11hp tecumseh motor but don't know what's the diameter on the crankshaft.... Am I suppose to measure it to know?
