How do you connect the sprocket to the wheel?

Have a fixed axle frame. I went to Northern Tool and I can see how the clutch goes on the shaft of the engine (though I don't know how to bolt the clutch on there) and I know the drive chain connect the clutch to the sprocket. I don't understand what I connect the sprocket to to get it to...

Not sure what to do next

Not sure what to do next. I have an engine and I have a go-kart frame from the junkyard (the engine is not from the junkyard.) Do I just bolt the engine to the frame and buy a couple of sprockets and a chain (is it a timing chain?) What size sprocket do I get? Thanks for advice.

Why are the larger wheels on the back?

Do they really do anything or is it for looks? What would larger on the front be bad? Four small equal sized tires? I know that sounds stupid but I wondered what it would matter. I don't understand the physics of it. Thanks.

How long should it take to angle grinder the paint off?

Never use an angle grinder until today. It is taking much longer than I thought. I thought the paint would just come right off. It doesn't always to that:ack2: Is it suppose to be a laborious task? Is there a solvent that can be applied first? I don't mind the hard work, if that's what it...

    question about moving the brakes

On my kart the brakes are "paddle" that are pulled against the tires and slow it. Since this is my first cart, and I got the frame out of the junkyard. I did not really know what I was doing. I also grabbed some bigger tires off a riding lawnmower there too. What I found out today was the...

Question about an angle grinder and rust on bolt

Hi, I got a go kart frame from the junk yard. I want to clean the paint off it if and repaint it. Do I use an angle grinder for that? How big and what amp? Will the cheaper 5 amp do? What size wheel? 4? 4.5+? Most of the body is clean, almost no rust. However the nut on one of the back...
