Almost finished the fenders. I also made sides supports for the seat. It still need some welding and paint.

It's about 7 pounds for all the fenders.

Thanks for your idea but I don't really like the side pods. It can't turn with the wheels as I want to. Started on the fender fabrication today.

Thanks for your comment! I think I will put a little bit more clearence. The main purpuse of them is more to protect the driver. The kids who drove it so far have put their feet on the front wheels a lot, so I wanted something to prevent that. I'm mostly driving it on dry asphalte and it would...

Thanks guy! The axle is 3/4" diameter and it does'nt seem to flex even with higher weight people on it. There is about 4in between the bearing and the wheel. I can bring the wheel closer to the bearing if it became a issue. Today I modified the steering geometry a bit because my ackermann angle...

I would'nt have built it if it was for myself only. But yes I also had fun designing, building and driving it.;)

Electricscooterparts.com have 8mm chain and sprocket but don't have adaptor to fit it to the axle. They also sell sprockets that probably fit your motor for #35 and #40 chain. I changed mine on my MY1020 motor for a 10 tooth sprocket for #35 chain...
