Are you sure the carb is getting clean fuel.If my 8hp sits for too long I have to blow out the fuel lines and carb.If you have good spark it has to be fuel related.

Nice job.It looks like the front tires are toed out a bit in the front.It may corner better if you brought them in .Usually 1/8"-3/16" works well.

Just changed over my steering using Ackerman theory .It's works really well the inside tire turns more than the outside one now.As soon as I get new torque converter I will try it out.

Hey all .Putting a torgue converter on my 8hp Tecumseh.I have 15" turf tires on back .I will go with a 10 tooth on converter and a 60 tooth on sprocket .I believe the 8 hp should make up for the tire size .What do you think?

Why don't you use a 350 chevy with Aluminum head's and intake you would definitetly have enough power to turn those axles.Just make sure you have a good roll bar and safety equipment when you make a test run.Is that a Corvette body?Nice job so-far,you are all over it!!!

I am thinking of 1"X2" rectangular tubing for the side rails and 1.5" tubing for the cross members. 090-1.25" thick.I am a welder by trade so tig welding the aluminum is no problem.I just want it strong though.How do you heat treat the aluminum?

I use a charger to charge the battery.It last's a long time

Can I use 93 Octane gas to get more power out of my 1974 8H.P. Tecumseh.I don't want to hurt the engine though.What do you think.

Does your 6H.P. Briggs have a threaded shaft?Usually the 1" shaft's use set screw's to hold the clutch on.

There isn't any room on the other side .This is the only way this will work on this set-up.For now it is O.k..I only have the engine at 5/8 throttle and it really moves.I will get a clutch eventually.When this thing winds up it will go fast.I had to slow it down for the kid's

I have two 55 watt roll bar lights on my cart .Is there a way I can run them off the engine and lose the battery .I am using a 12 volt garden tractor battery.:idea2:
