The mini bike pulls up the hill better with the same engine obviusly because it weighs less. Going down hill we're dead even.
It is a little disapointing though, how they both pull really hard at first until the governer limits the throttle. It seems like just a little bit more top end would be...
I might do that. There's a bracket where the headrest mounts that would be perfect for mounting a tank.
Seatbelts came in today too! And new tires. Once I'm strapped in I can go balls to the wall with it. Been hesitant to date because it will toss you out if you're not strapped in.
It seems like we're getting enough RPM but not enough speed. I tend to think it might be the torque converter not doing it's job 100 percent.
The governor seems like it's acting as it should. When you start from a dead stop, the throttle goes wide open and it takes off. As load decreases...
The only problem is, once we pulled the tank off the block, the springs and rods came apart on us before we could reference anything. I'll look for the manual.
I understand how it's supposed to work. As engine speed increases, the authority of the governoer to close the throttle gets stronger. It's job is to regulate engine speed at various loads. As load drops, engine RPM increases, and the governer rod puts more tension on the throttle spring and...
