    Brakes not braking!

Hi gang, I've spent most of this summer riding around the property with plenty of speed (thanks to a new 6.5hp Predator) but no matter what setup I put on for brakes, it just won't slow down. Originally, there was a drum/band that stopped it but I cut that off after realizing it wouldn't do...

    Not sure how to proceed

Thanks! I had to add some height for the motor off the frame to put some tension on the chain, but that was simple enough. That's Bindi. She like s to watch lol

    Not sure how to proceed

Here is the "finished" product....never truly finished but it's ready to run. *The skinny wheel/tire combo did not make it too far. One lap around the yard and the hub separated from the wheel. Not recommended with this cart lol

    Front wheels/tires suggestions

What do I need to get as far as hardware? Like I don’t want to slap another wheel set on there and have those bent. Is there an attachment that I’m missing? I’d like something larger like a small 4 wheeler tire but those have hub style bolt patterns.

    Front wheels/tires suggestions

Hey gang, Thanks so mush for all of your help up to this point getting my cart project up to speed (pun intended). I need recommendations for front wheels and tires now and have no idea where to start. Not so much picking out which ones exactly, more like what do I need to get to make sure I...

    Not sure how to proceed

Alright, I've noticed many sources online saying to cut the oil sensor wire and discard. The explanation makes sense to me but there's no coming back once those wires are snipped... Is this really necessary? Does the oil slosh around enough to cause issues with killing the motor?

    Not sure how to proceed

I agree. My father-in-law and I were chatting (subtle arguing) about this yesterday for about an hour. There are many ways to go about getting this kart rolling and in my opinion, I like getting rid of the stock setup and doing to torque converter jackshaft right to the axle sprocket (after...

    Not sure how to proceed

My plan is to purchase a 212 with 3/4” shaft paired with the 30. I’m confused as to how the motor and converter will line up with what’s currently on here. Does that current shaft with sprocket need to be part of the process or should I remove it and run straight from the jack shaft to the large...

    Not sure how to proceed

Hello all, I bought a rolling frame off FB and am not sure the best way to setup the new motor and torque converter. Any advice as far as how to mount the engine, route the chain(s) etc. would be greatly appreciated. I’m handy, but I’m not sure if I need to modify the current setup or should I...
