Problem solved. The band was the wrong one for this kart. I put the old one back on and everything lined up nicely. Still need a new on but this one did not work.

The spring was on the brake somewhere.

I have one of these and working on it for the Grandkids. Replacing the band break but did not take a picture befor disassemble. Can you send me some pictures of break that will help me put it back together. Thanks.

New to forum and am in trouble. I did not that a picture of the band break on a Model 2936 two seater. Got it apart can not figure the assembly. Anyone have a picture of the brake assemble. Thanks
