I don't recall seeing anything in my engine manual about changing the idle speed. I'll look again. What would be the consequence of oiling more than the bushing?

Yes, still engaging and working. I just notice that when the kart is cold I can roll it pretty easily when the engine is off but after several runs when it warms up the kart is more difficult to roll freely and the clutch seems to be heating up pretty good. It seems to help if I oil it a bit...

Sorry, but what does "the idle is set to the clutch" mean?

So, once connected, if I were to pull the cord and start this engine the kart would take off on me? or does the load of the kart (once the chain is on) keep it in place?

Yep, I have a centrifugal clutch that spins. But, even when I take the clutch off the drive shaft itself spins. Normal (even at idle)?

Alright, I tried the grabit and it just couldn't get ahold of the screw so I took it to a local automotive shop and a guy there got it out using an easy-out. Thanks for all the suggestions.

My father-in-law has an Alden Grabit that I'm going to try. The don't think the bolt was too long but it may have been close. What are the potential issues if it was too long?
