I was under the impression that i would not have to do anything to the rear end exept take the old electric motor out and modify the shaft comming out of the gearbox to hold a sprocket

Yes i have a 1999 modle club car golf cart and am converting it from electric to gas but the problem is i know next to nothing about small engines or gear ratios. Basically know nothing about the whole procces ecept how to put it all togeather. My problem is i dont know what engine or torque...
