thats what i was in the process of doing and it was working well, then i decided i might need to reconnect the brake cable, i didnt know if it could cause damage to anything, it has a kill switch right under the steering wheel, so are you saying it can work properly without the clip?

hi it is the linkage from the governor arm to throttle, i can move the arm so slightly and it will back the plate around at the carb and idle perfect, it was working perfect until i messed with the brake cable which also hooks to the arm and pulls the arm to cut the engine down when brake is...
