Got some 100mm x 25mm x 16 slip over lovely tack welding the ends made some spacers up might have to cut 5mm off them. Would you like me to post some pics up as it could be useful if others get into the same situation in uk with wheel choice.

I am thinking a couple of big nuts it's only to stop the wheel going close to the axle will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Sorted some reducers so will keep thread updated when they get here. Should be fine, weld the ends to existing spindle bolt won't go anywhere just got find a spacer now 20x25x50mm to space the wheels.

Like I said it's just abit of humour no problem here, I'm thinking find some 16mm ID bushing with an OD of 25mm. 5/8 is 15.88mm so 16mm is close enough then just tack weld it to existing spindle, it will be stronger aswell with 25mm front end.

Think it's more of a case of imperial to metric that is the problem, plenty of bearing suppliers here. Seems like the US are behind the times havn't managed to go metric yet. I would of kept the original wheels but one of them is different it is like the back wheel bolts instead of fixed...

Because that's all I could get, not only that the sizes where not listed on website and I drove a 200 mile round trip so I took them anyway as I know there will be a way of sorting it.

Ok so I have managed to get some wheels from Gemini karts in the uk but have a problem with spindles. The old bearing ID was 5/8 the new ones are 25mm is the some some of spacer insert I can get to kind of sleeve the spindle on stub axle from 5/8 to 25mm The kart in question is a manco dingo...

Manco Dingo 8 hp go-kart problems with acceleration

Yeah debris wouldn't cause loss of power but would the cutting out after two minute about the time a float bowl lasts. As you rightly point out a fried clutch would. Btw my dingo project is coming along very well, just need a couple of tyres for the front.
