thanks for the help but i gave up on the lawnmower engine i snapped the belt that i twisted to the axel. so i brought a 5.5 hp go cart engine with an easy to set up accelerator. the only problem i have now is i dont have a back axel or enough money to buy one after the engine have any ideas on...

can u give me a step by step instruction?

this may sound stupid but i was wondering with a lawnmower engine is there any way to controle the speed? e.g when driving like a accelerator pedal if so how would i go abouce setting it up? :confused: :confused:

Hi iam 15 and just got in to cart making me and a friend have desided to make a go cart from a old victa lawnmower engine we realise that it cant be mounted on its side but we have something planed for that the only real problems we have are we dont know how to attach a cog on to the back axel...
