I have measured the kart fron ground to certain points and it all matches up ... I think its a culmination of camber / castor issues and that dam great lumpy thing on the back and bars being welded across. I did some more digging and from what i can understand a engine mount bolts to the engine...

So many differant opinions. I spoke to a local kart circuit manager / engineer and he said that the front left is suppose to raise and left aint other wise it would not go round a corner he says its more a camber issue ... Just dunno which way to go with repairing this as i have limited resources

To me engine looks to far across rather being more inwards which would lessen the lift. I may add that engine flcannot be moved across due to vlutch and sprocket eating into the seat!!

Ok lets say i go new frame route can any go kart chassis take a gx340 engine obviously i will need engine mount welding in place any frame should be fine correct ??

Argh i have no access to a welder and obv to pay someone to cut weld and make up a new steering part would cost a fair bit. Wonder if i can pick up a decent straight frame. So i have no chance of countering this peice of **** fabrication ?

Cheers for the replys guys. I am pretty sure i am running a sproket carrier.....not sure what tooth the front sprocket is (engine sprocket i assume. All i know is its a gx340 lump with what i gather is a centrifugal clutch . The chain i cannot see fitting a 74 tooth sprocket as its already tight...
