Your losing hp running without a filter.definitely lean.once you get filter check your rollers could be worn out.

yeah youll have set backs along the way,thats to be expected when your doing things custom.your plans may change on the fly at times,especially if you have to go to another size rims to fit your hubs..

why wouldnt a torque converter be designed for hills?what do you thin k comes on 99 percent of the utility atvs these days?the auto trannys on these are basically torque converters.im sure the can am outlander 800s and yamaha grizzlys have no problem with hills and what not with their torque...

i have had many uses and engine swaps over the yrs using my trusty flux cored wlder,i had it for the past 11yrs or so so i think i have gotten pretty good with it,worx for me.keep meaning to upgrade but i have found no reason to put it to the side just yet for what i do.

i dont see why you wouldnt be able to take it with you to a store/shop and match it up and come fairly close.

i know maxxis are good tires over here.i used the razors on my atvs..lol i would use tie rod ends from something heavy duty as your a arms mounts/pivots.i wouldnt use them from a atv,dont seem like they would hold up.

if your serious get a flat slide carb with a accellerator pump from a dirt bike and mod it to work with your briggs.get a good exhaust set up as well.

be careful you dont wad yourself up on that thing,that this is gonna have major understeer.a 5 or 6hp and a centrifugal clutch ould be ideal on that platform.
