    why wouldnt a torque converter be designed for hills?what do you thin k comes on 99 percent of the utility atvs these days?the auto trannys on these are basically torque converters.im sure the can am outlander 800s and yamaha grizzlys have no problem with hills and what not with their torque...

    i have had many uses and engine swaps over the yrs using my trusty flux cored wlder,i had it for the past 11yrs or so so i think i have gotten pretty good with it,worx for me.keep meaning to upgrade but i have found no reason to put it to the side just yet for what i do.

    i know maxxis are good tires over here.i used the razors on my atvs..lol i would use tie rod ends from something heavy duty as your a arms mounts/pivots.i wouldnt use them from a atv,dont seem like they would hold up.

    be careful you dont wad yourself up on that thing,that this is gonna have major understeer.a 5 or 6hp and a centrifugal clutch ould be ideal on that platform.

    use a live axle setup from a atv or buy some 1in stock and use pillow block bearings.the 1in stock comes in varied lengths.i have a kart now im working on,im gonna replace the anemic 150cc gy6 motor for a streetbike motor or sled..not sure yet

    well the sad part is its not just briggs its like that with everything.Case in point look at GM and their suspect current quality,almost put them out of business.Why arent their tranny built here in the USA instead of Mexico and overseas?Money thats why,Briggs is still cashin in on their label...
