I've heard that Mobil 1 tends to thin out (cars) over time...

This true?

i have had every brand of oil there is and used every brand. my 2006 jeep uses mobil one and i get 4 times longer life on mobil than any thing else and oil still look brand new. but every body has there own they like to use.mine just cost an arm and leg.7.50 a quart.

15 years....
6 vans
5-jeeps
55-cars
15-trucks
5 motorcycles
4 go carts
8 lawn mowers
1 boat
ford,chevy,honda,toyota,dodge,buick,-this is just from what i know , i dont make the oil but i do see what does work real good{never ever....................never ever use a piece of junk fram filter will cause problems do not filter good at all danger.}

Si si, FRAM uses cardboard end caps, very thin metal, crappy parts, ect.

And to think my parents ran up 165k miles on FRAM filters :ack2:

At 300 miles with Mobil 1, it's already black :rolleyes3: (actually drained it out ta check)

I'm running Joe Gibbs, but it is about $12.00 a qt. Depends how much you like your engine.
