You guys with your cute little 250s o:

I miss my 87 YZ400.. Probably a good thing that I got rid of it cause it was heavily overdue for a top-end rebuild.

No such thing as a 87 YZ400 buddy. I owned a 84 IT490, and i know what the bigbores feel like. A well tuned 250 will outrun an older aircooled bigbore with ease.....

I guess considering the year it's in expected shape, but still 1600 is too much. Is the header dented, or just rubbed? Dented headers kinda suck depending on the extent of the damage.

I had pulled the slide out earlier to drop my needle a notch. I'm thinking a piece of dirt fell in the slide bore or something...Cleaned it and lubed it with some 2 cycle oil. My front left fork is now leaking oil...(clearing a 30 foot table by a couple feet isn't gentle on your suspension...) Going trail riding tomorrow. If its nice out ill try and get some pics

There is a reason why every bike ever has the "oh ****!" kill switch in the same spot.

Most of the time the kill switch wont work full throttle(in my case) the engine is usually dieseling. And it don't slow you down fast enough

If its just a small bit don't worry about it. New seals probably would help a tad. If its leaving a puddle like mine, you got problems. Time for fork rebuilds.

Never had any problems, so no, not really. But your getting coolant in the tranny? Must be a gasket in there leaking or something.
