u sure those stereo ones arent 30w and the 0 is just smudged off? 3 seems insanely tiny, i had a 2" speaker that was like 12w or something.

I have two big 5 way sansui speakers, each box has a 12" sub, two mids, and two tweeters. There from the early 70s and the back of the box says their rated for 60w. I have pumped at least 100w though them for quite a while, they could handle at least 150w and sound great too.

ok guys well i got this figured out playing with my amp i can remove the bass so it dont shake my room so ill get some pictures cause im gona mount these two under my bed... im still not sure exactly how i will go about mounting them and the box to the bed but ill figure something out! then ill just have to test my switching board between the computer and the sterio then i should be done!

I take all credit for the sub under the bed idea, except my plan was to mount my sub in my box spring haha...just gott find an amp.

oh do subs need to warm up? cause right now only one sub is working the way it should the other the bigger one is just chillin not doin nothing

you hooked up you other one? i was assuming you just had one cause if it is hooked up right there should be 0 warm up time, there should be rip roaring to go

you could get one of those slim self powered subs lol only do 200W but it would get your bed shaking GOOOOOD lol

i figured it out the 1000w takes more to power it so its really quiet....untill i pump up the bass

i didnt read any other posts so dunno if its been answered but there is a crossover setting on ur amp. Adjust that to adjust what frequencies go where.

Its called an "active" sub. Which basically means it has its own amp inside it. Normal subs are called "passive" subs.

that should be good to rattle anyones brain! and before you ask that is a amc 360 valve cover that pinstriped on the wall... i even have a govoner gear from my racing mower up there to somewere.

Haha this one night over the summer there was some really loud music, some weird disco stuff. Anyways, i thought it was my neighbors right next door so i opened my windows and blasted some metallica almost full volume. I turned it down and didnt hear their music anymore and figure "haha, i win". A few seconds later it starts again! so i started blasting some more, anyways that cycle went a few times till i figured out it was the dumb party house down the road a little haha.
