Hello all.

I posted up in the intro section and the general karting forum looking for advice on the Kartco 330 frame. Well, the whole reason I ended up looking at karts is because I've been searching high and low for a 1970 Rupp Sprint.

My older brother bought a Sprint bramd new in '70 for $208.00. My brother passed away in '75, and his Sprint is long gone. One of my little nephews is named for him, and I want to turn him on to engines and riding and fun, the gear head way. One thing led to another and it seems he might be happier with a kart, which is cool with me, but I'd still like to find a Sprint for myself. So what the heck, seems like a knowledgeable group here, anybody got a line on an old Rupp?

Thanks,
furyus

Not sure if this is a Sprint model but he claims its a Rupp: http://appleton.craigslist.org/mcy/1515443141.html

Hard to tell from that pic. If it is a Rupp, I'd guess it's a mid-sixties model. Fuel tank doesn't look right to me, but I am not an expert on the complete Rupp line (I do know my Sprint, though).

As you might imagine, a easy 10 percent of what is advertised as a Rupp, in fact, isn't.
