Not sure if I will use this, but I found it behind the bushes.

A little more than a year ago it was the summer before last I was at a friends house and there was a lowes being built up on top behind the building was a housing development and a small trail inbetween the lowes and houses we went through it and saw this trike we thought nothing of it at the time and just last week since I was thinking of building a kart I remembered this and went today to see if it was there i was dissapointed at first it was gone i looked behind some bushes and lo and behold it looked like someone pushed it through the brush to hide it. I am thinking of turning it into a project probably after my kart is finished.
The pics are from my phone since i didnt have my usual camera with me i just went to check if it was there so i didnt try to move it or check how much it ways and all that.

Maybe the old owner just gave up and left it there after it broke down, and then someone else came along and stole some parts off it, but I was thinking its very possible that someone might have just dumped it there after stealing it and stripping off the parts they needed...

DO NOT CUT THAT UP. It's an early Honda ATC90. The tires alone can go for a grand for a good set on Ebay.

i was kind of scared when i found it it was pushed into a spot where it looked like a bum was living and was paranoid and thinking that some bum would hit me in the head with a beer bottle and i would never be seen again.

Not true. The early ATC 90 used special high flotation tires (used really small rims) and the tires are very very rare, haven't been made in ages. I believe they were expensive as hell even when they were still being made. Hence the value.

ATC's were never illegal, but there was an importing ban on them for a few years in the late '80s. By the time it was lifted, production in Asia had already switched over to quads because the US was a huge ATV market that they couldn't miss out on.

They're not really that hard to ride either, if you don't act like a total dumbass. The only ATV I've ever ridden was my friend's ATC200s, and it was cake.

But the reason they baned imports is idiots who would roll them and get hurt and sue the company because there stupidity is automaticaly the companys falut. thats what ive heard why they dont make them anymore but the person i heard that from could be wrong too.

There was a ban on the sale of new 3 wheelers but it has expired(1988-98). People wrecked em because they were idiots and thought All Terrain Cycle meant it could be ridden like a motorcycle.
