Kinroad Electric Issue

Good day! I have a Kinroad NST 110cc go kart i'm trying to fix up for my granddaughter. It will not crank. I feel like the problem is how I have the kill switch wired. I've tried several combinations without success. The kart did run last week, but I removed the kill switch wires and forgot to photograph how they were attached. The wiring diagrams I have come up with show the black/white wire runs from the CDI to the kill switch and a green ground wire attaches to one of the ground pin on the kill switch. The kill switch is a single throw, 3 pin switch, brand new. The CDI and coil are brand new. I've checked all the wires on the kart and they have continuity suggesting them to be good. The gear switch is in neutral as shown on the dash light. The brake switch is engaged (pedal pushed down). One other thing, there is power to one side of the coil, but no power from the other side of the coil when I try to start the kart with the dash mounted ignition switch. What am I doing wrong? Please help. Thanks.

The wiring is a common issue on those Chinese buggies. We have a few here who can troubleshoot these machines. Standby.

I take it the kart is used?

It is used, but runs fine when I can start it. LOL. By the way, I live in deep southern Illinois near a small town named Cobden. I an just recently retired and have been working on this kart for several months. I'm looking forward to responses concerning my issue.

Ahh. The good ol china kart strikes again.
Ive worked on 2 so my knowledge is limited.
There's a few different schematics out there for the many branded but still the same karts.
Color coding seems to never match but chasing the wires seems reliable.

What part did you replace? The key switch or the kill switch.
Reason is you say the kill switch is 3 wire. Is it one of those lighted ones? The kill switch is usually a SPST.

The switch is lit, its either on or off. It has 3 contacts as did the original switch. A few weeks ago I replaced the CDI and coil.

Where’s @Karttekk ?

He’s king of wiring schematics and has posted many in the past.
