While I was sleeping my darned dog on Saturday grabbed my check book. He really likes going for by by rides. So what do you think old stupid went out and did? He went out and bought a 1955 Buick Special 2 door sedan. Now I’m stuck having to drive to Iowa the end of April to go and get it.
While he was outside pooping I hid and locked up the check book. I was not happy, but he did pick a nice one. He definitely has good taste. Pictures will have to wait until I go and get it though.

By the way it’s Bel-Air. I don’t have your money. I’m a die hard GM and Chrysler guy. This was an unplanned purchase that Duke got a killer deal on. I worked on Buicks for 12 years right out of high school. So I do have a soft spot in my head for them.

You need to stay in school there young one. First so you can learn the proper way to start a sentence. Then so you can learn punctuation. And finally so you can learn 304 stainless steel does not rust.

The frame is still steel with epoxy coating. But evidently, the frames do have a tendency to rust by the crumple zones. Still that would have to be inspected and treated/repaired. Not the end of the world.

a 4 door ). Is it a post or a hardtop? Special is 3 port holes, right.
