Did that start life as one of those Chinese choppers with the faux V-twin hiding a small 50cc two-smoke right behind it?

Looks like the bonus engine is a Tecummesh OHV which I love for the upright cylinder position...

How did this even happen. I was driving down the road minding my own business when this jumped in the back while I made some work errands.

Fine. Ill take it home. Great another project.

An engine came along too. Too bad it has a tapered shaft pto.

OK little guy, stand here for a first day pic.

Piglet came to say hi.

Ill make a proper thread when the time comes.
Cool. It looks like the bike you see in the top right corner when you click "all the way home" here on the forum.

Ive been dying to find a winter project like this. Maybe a more traditional looking bike for us. Good luck!

Do it now, Piglet is complete. :cornut:

You can post in depth photos of the bike/frame and existing running gear (which many here have never seen) and you can sit on it and make vroom vroom sounds while you plan. Never seen one of these refurbished with a serious engine although many have tried. Last I one I saw was on oldminibikes and the poor fella essentially got roasted paying good money for junk (“You bought a piece of chinese garbage haha!“). I wonder where these were sold, they’re all over place

Just got back hanging out with my dad at the bar for Michigan vs. OSU game. We got routed, but we expected it and still had a great time with the old man. Family time and day drinkin'.

Now time to get ready for the 5-8" of snow coming. Snow blower started first pull! lol.

Not the first time I’ve seen that! Seems to happen this time of year. An expensive piece to loose!
That was the only time I've seen one just laying on a major arterial road. Been living out in the country for a few years now. Have only been stuck behind plenty of ag equipment.

The fun days of my job as a land surveyor.

Section breakdown.
The larger square is a mile each side.
Im gonna have to find 4 corners. Then the 4 mid points. That will let me find Center section. Then I can break down each quadrant.
The corners may or may not have been set back in the 1880s.
Ill be looking for sandstone rock piles with a scribe stone.

My customer lot is 160 acres.

My latest map from 1882.

A Google photo to show the elevations.
Base elevation 7400 to 8000 on the peaks

Sounds like we have adjacent careers :D I head up the GIS department at a large forestry company here in South Africa. I often have to deal with CAD data and old survey diagrams:eek: The older they are the worse they are to interpret. Back in the day we had measurements in chains and english feet. Yuk!! (Or better yet.......ride your horse for 3 days in one direction and 3 days in another. That is then your land)o_O

I’d come help just for the giggles. Would love some photos from ground level when you get there. Looks like a mule trail crisscrosses the land in a few places.
