Oooh is it bad that I am making these separate threads?

I dunno, I blame the other guys for not keeping up hahaha. I like that you are putting stuff out there and are quick with replies and photos.

[EDIT:] you're at school! These old-er fellas need to cut you some slack on account of that. W.T.R. needs to click on your name and read all your postings. 😁 If he had, he'd know your skill level and beginner/advanced/expert status or whatever.

[EDITx2:] Here's the 3 women you must not disappoint...

Good to know you got the corrected version. They had used the rack and pinion from their rider lawnmower which wasn't a very good idea but it did help to get rid of parts but go karts don't go the same speed as a rider lawnmower and they got manhandled entirely different. You have the better version.

Cleaner version for the future lol.

The comet 30 series CVT is generally the go-to for go karts and mini bikes. You get lower ratio for starting off then generally you get an over drive ratio at the top end, somewhere around a 0.90:1 for overdrive and low end is about 2.68:1, so just over two and a half times the sprocket ratio overall. Say you're at around 6:1 with a clutch and sprocket, effectively at the bottom end you're at 16.08:1 and at the high end cruising about a 5.4:1.
