Here @ MTL the fun never ends. More cutting, notching , welding tubes.
The slaves in the dungeon did a decent job putting in tubes to attach a skid plate to.
Ever alert the lead slave pointed out the clearance between the exhaust and the oil pan. Looks like a heat shield is in order.
Interesting feature on this machine is an oil cooler, a oil to water cooler. That round thing. Notice the sculptured oil pan.

Despite Mr. Negative thinkig that is a broken con-rod bolt sticking out, its NOT a bolt, but a casting thingy. So calm down....

Made a heat shield for the exhaust/oil pan interface. Wooo hooo. not much progress today.
Think I'll wrap it with that assbestes tape shyt also. I get it, not much in the way of options on a bike. The header is purdy nice so I think I"ll keep it. That has to lower the oil temp a few dergees.



Here is the Hack tip of the day:
Anyone with a hydraulic press can have a ghetto press brake with a bit of material and some imagination.
Here is the hack press brake, cuz I wanted a larger bend radius then the box & pan brake does.



Don't let "I don't have XYZ" (tool) stop ya, just Hack it! What could possibly go wrong?
Ya have insurance don't ya?

Due to overwhelming demand ,The video department was tasked with a demo video of the Ghetto fab press brake.
So without further BS here it is!
I happen to have an air over hydraulic press but it will work with a manual one as well.

To expand on the ghetto fab press brake, don't just think, "fine but who needs that big radius bend?". Well, rejoice and use yer inagination! Yer not limited to big round bends. Use some 90 degree angle material and a piece of square stock. Ya can make decent sharp 90s. Use yer wife's dishes and ya can make hub caps. But wait there's more.
the possibilities are endless! Suit of armor? Why not. Helmet? Sure!
Also boring stuff like brackets, holder thingys and gizmos.
