The fiberglass needed a ton of reinforcement given the damage so I was so eager to see it drive for the first time ever. I told him to stay away from all curbs!!!! That's why the timid turns.

Most kids ( even young ones ) catch on faster than you think. Once they get the
FEEL of the throttle, they want more.
Funny you say that.....
My daughter got in it and mashed the throttle so hard she bent the throttle stop tab where it touches the throttle limit screw.
Just folded that thing right over and went full gas. So then we had to have a conversation about cheap Chinese stamped hardware and why we don't assume things are made of Titanium.
