Streaker Hubs?

I have a Ken bar streaker sc7 kart. I bought it without any front hubs. At least I think they're supposed to be hubs on the front. Does anyone know for sure, and if so, what kind of hubs are they? It seems a 5/8 bearing wheel doesn't want to fit correctly.

Ken-Bar karts typically had a cast aluminum hub for the front wheels that the split rim wheels bolted to, but you don't have to have that. Use whatever you can get--tubeless tire steel wheels with integrated hubs or whichever. The rear wheel hubs are steel on my S-465 and are keyed to the live axle.

Maybe there’s a burr on the threaded portion preventing a bearing from sliding on? Measure the diameter with a digital caliper or something.
