what size push rod do I get if I have 18lbs springs

So I have a hemi predator 212 and I'm doing some upgrades. I want to remove the governor and built it reliably, but not spend an arm and a leg. I already put a mock vm22 carb and header pipe. In my cart I have a Tillotson 212e flywheel because its rated for 10k rpms, 18lbs springs, and a performance billet connecting rod Tillotson 212. I am using gopowersports.com.

I am stuck because I'm not sure what size push rod to get if I'm running 18lbs valve springs and a stock cam and stock rockers. Also I am open to any advice as I am new to building smaller engines thanks.

Unless you had the head milled and the valve train is stock, then the push rods should be stock, or same length. That is if you haven’t done anything to change the installed height (length). Just changing springs would’t change that.
A phone call to one of the vendors would get ya a mo bedder answer maybe.
We have some expert engine guys on board here l’m sure one of them will chime in shortly. I am not one of them, l am only applying automotive knowledge, that is really old. Like adjusting valves old. However the mechanics are thesame.

Installing 18 lb. springs won't cause you to change your push rods. The stock ones that came in the engine will be fine. Your post is quite confusing. Do you own a predator hemi, or a tilloston? Maybe both. The billet flywheel for the
Tilloston will not work on the predator. The taper of the engine shaft, and the way the bore is of the flywheel have to match. The predator hemi needs one made specifically for it.

Go Power Sports should sell two brands of aftermarket flywheels for your hemi.
One made by ARC ( the best money can buy ) for about $120, and one made by
PVL for around $85. Not as good, but still a quality piece. You will probably find cast aluminum ones on Amazon for $50. I don't know anything about them, but I have purchased other engine parts from them and they were junk. The whole point of replacing the flywheel is for safety after the govorner is removed and the engine is spinning a lot faster. How much are your body parts worth. FWIW, I own 6 of the ARC brand, and one of the PVL. In my opinion it's not a part you should skimp on.

The cam will be the defining factor on pushrods. Std cam with 18lb springs fine.
Well tuned carb, free flowing exhaust, 32degree timing. Oil sensor and governor removed, you're good for a noticeable increase in torque and hp without revving the nuts out of it. Start to rev past 5500rpm and it would be a good idea to change the conrod and flywheel as a pair. Reliability is the main issue.

He won't need chromemoly pushrods with 18 lb. springs. Even 26's it's sort of iffy. Any thing beyond that, for sure. 18's are pretty weak ( although certainly stronger than the 10 lb. stockers ) . Hold one of each in your hands, and it's pretty easy to squish either one.
