Anyone used that combo with a 420? I'm looking to stick it in a golf cart project and would like to see some pics if I can.

Also, someone help me convince my wife that a 212 is not going to work well in a golf cart.

I think "almost" everyone uses that combo in golf cart conversions. Check out Vegas Carts. Personally I like the idea of stripping carts down to their naked, elemental components and making a 212 work, because it will.

What brand golf karts had is it? What year?
It's s 60s Pargo. The suspension is from a Suzuki quadracer 250. The front suspension is just tacked in, and I want to get an engine and tc to I can figure out the rear.

Those ain’t exactly lightweights like modern karts are. You would be better off going 420 or more. Kubota 3cyl diesel?

A 420 is my original plan. I may ditch the idea of a reverse gearbox though.
