Hi all. I am using this water pump gas motor for my go kart. Everything was running fine until we took the gas tank and air filter off to weld the frame, after reassembly the motor starts fine but after a while idling sometimes it sounds like its going to die. When I press the gas pedal if I press it softly like I'm going over a speed bump or making a turn from stopped position the motor stalls and dies. Just leaving the house to the street it will stall 4-5 times.
If I'm press the gas pedal hard it sounds like its going to stall and the momentum starts it up again so I can still drive it as long as I press the gas hard.
Brought it to a mechanic shop and he checked the gas filter and air filter and checked for water and everything was fine. He adjusted the 3 knobs and it worked fine,no stalls for a day. The next morning I took it out and it ran fine. Let bit sit for a few hours and it started doing it again but stalling more frequently than the first time
Brought it back to the mechanic today again. He took all the tank off and filter out again and adjusted the knobs. It worked fine on the ride home. Then I started it up an hour later and same problem. Stalling out like crazy.
He's already tried putting in a brand new spark plug, same problem.
Any ideas?
