Will this be worth it?

You could have the pieces tig welded back together, but it's not a particularly cheap service. Worth it for irreplaceable aluminum parts though
Much appreciated. Yeah, I’ve been looking everywhere and just can’t find one. That seems more doable.

It’s about to be the longest week and a half. It’s going to be winter break so I can’t work on it anymore. All I need to do is install the brakes clutch chain and throttle cable. I have the brakes and the clutch/chain should be at my school today and the throttle will hopefully be at school when we get back. I’m super excited and impatient 😁

and I have to somehow mount the plastic better but we can just send it I’ll be fine

When I backed out the screw one of my friends said what are you doing and I explained to him then he said you should go do it to the other one but I said no I should put the screw in farther. 😂
In another forum they refer to it as the gubnah and from now on I’ll be recommending that people keep there gub until the safety issues are addressed (y)

That thing looks absolutely terrifying to drive. I love it.
It does make me sligtly regret getting rid of a big *** 2 seater Barbie VW Beetle that I came across a couple years ago.

It wouldn't have taken a whole lot of work to rear engine that thing although it would have been much easier to do with a GC or similar OHC engine since they are close to the same dimensions of a Briggs 5hp Flatty.

I got the clutch/chain installed I also got the brakes hooked up. There is too much weight in the back right now. Just pushing it, the front wheels won’t turn since all the weight is in the back. Hopefully when I sit on it, it evens out.

Sounds exactly like what I warned you would likely happen right from the jump

I got two people who will give me 1k when it's running but I think I can get a little more than that. I can already make my money back just on the muffler. I might trade a family member $___ and then there stock muffler and I would make my money back. I also know someone who wants the rack on the back for $60 so If I don't need to spend lots of money then it's all profit when I sell 🥳

Don’t go parting it out until you get it running. You may get even more complete!
Yeah I will most likely get more if it’s complete. I will also get some more experience and have fun fixing it and riding it. I just want to do a wheelie a burnout and maybe a top speed test (or just go pretty fast if I can’t hit the top speed) then I will be happy.

I currently have another Atv and I always wanted one like this. Now since I have it I’m so excited. I was up until 3 am thinking of all the cool stuff I want to do.

this is for the headlight. The blue wire must have broke and the white wire goes back and then splits to a second one that goes nowhere. Would this cause no spark? I thought I heard if the wires have a short it won’t start

Cdi for spark and if it’s bad replace it with a genuine one. type 2vintage 300ex into youtube I wouldn’t be surprised if he has been all through one.

Back to my power wheels for now, I need a new sprocket since the old one was so worn. My teacher said he can only get a 40t or 60t so we went with 40t and already have the 13t clutch. I also took off the muffler and reved it. It sounded soooo loud and good 😍
