Hi guys

Went for my first ride on my bmx today. Sadly i didnt have sprockets for the right gearing but its sweet for moastly flat roads. The overall ratio is 11.7:1 with 19" wheels and a 49cc pocket rocket engine. On my short ride up the road my speedometer stopped working past 59km/h on a slighty inclined road. I will take some pics of the frame when i get my mums camera. I just brought a TIG welder and its just the best, iv never MIG welded before but i found it quite easy. Makes beautiful welds too. This bike is ment to be my wheels till i can get my licence when im 15 next year, providing i can muffle it enough, it has no exhaust, just flows right out of the port.

sounds good but u gotta get an exhaust on that sucker or u will screw it up. 2 strokes rely on back pressure or u waste tuns of fuel and its bad for it.

Yea on these engines the the cylinder and head is the same casting and ive got to turn it 180 degreese so i can fit a pipe. thats a good thing about these engines its eays to rotate the piston and head. as for the pipe i think im just going to make a high flow muffler cant be boatherd with expantion chambers and what not.

2 strokes NEEDS an axpansion chamber to run more effectively... just buy a cheap pocket bike muffler... they have expansions chambers build in an they cost like 20 bucks!
