Stock Non-Hemi Predator 212 Head Volume?

I recently bought a new Predator 212 non-hemi that I am building out to run on methanol, I have installed an ARC 6252 billet rod and a DJ-1285PH flat-top piston with it. I also installed an ARC 6695 billet flywheel, gave the head a port job, installed 18lb valve springs with 1.3:1 ratio rockers, and installed a 0.010 head gasket. what I want to know now is the volume of the head so that I can calculate the compression ratio for documentation purposes (I'm doing this for a senior project so I need to write this kind of stuff down). Still, no matter how much I search online I can't find any info on the volume of a non-hemi head. I have seen posts saying the hemi head has a volume of 22cc but I'm not sure if it's the same for the non-hemi. any information on this would help a lot.

The pred 212 non hemi head is 20.5-21.7cc, that I have measured.
They all differ.
The kind of plug you use will change the measured cc.
Unshrouding the valves will increase the volume.

Jus get a cc syringe and flat piece of hard clear plastic. Measure 5 times and use the average.

that +.040" rod should put the piston above the deck.

Is that .010" gasket gonna be enough for piston to head clearance????

I've had pistons smack the head with .020" clearance. It only takes 1 time.

These engines do flex. Things move around quite a bit in the crankcase.

Billet side covers help, but they still flex.

the flat top piston is .020 under the stock piston and when I installed I checked clearance and it was flush with the deck so I wasn't too worried about it, but should I?

If it's. 000", run a .027" to .030" thick gasket. To be on the safe side.

Another thing about the head gaskets, they differ in diameter. Good ones are usally around 70.1mm for the 70mm bores. Some can be up to 72mm.

Sound like you got a nice build going on. Good choice on the 1.3 stamp steel rockers.

What cam are you using???

I am currently using the stock cam but plan on upgrading it soon I haven't quite decided what cam I'm going to go with any suggestions would be helpful though.

Isky racing cams are the hardest pulling cams we have came across.

The Black Mamba Jr destroys any of those junk .265 cams.
The Black Mamba makes dyno's .308 cam look silly.
The stop watch don't lie.

Tim makes custom cams for any build. They are lil pricey, but you get what you pay for.

We have tested Dyno, nr racing, ec carbs, and gps cams. We stopped testing when we got to the isky cams, there's jus no comparison, and no reason to choose anything else, imho.

Give him a call when you get ready. He's not a big box store so he don't need a ton of cams laying around waiting to be sold.

Black mamba Jr was my first cam purchase. I’m not sure it’s intended rpm range. It has good bottom end and for me turned about 7000 rpm (50+ mph) on a my mini bike.
