Denny
Canned Monster
I’m the kind where I don’t much care what others think of me. After having it for 10 years I traded it off for my 75 vette.
Gobs of smooth, easy to use HP. Could send grandma to the store in it with an LS. Tires might suffer though! Why, when a tunnel rammed big block will do just fine?
I enjoyed that as well, when l was younger. Now l prefer A/C, good tunes, comfort, quiet. I’ll put the window down if l want to smell burning rubber.I don’t doubt that an LS is smoother. But that’s not what I want. I love the brutal on or off power, the mean visceral assault of my senses.
Had a buddy that had that setup back in the day, but it was a Valiant.170 slant 6, 3 on the tree, 4 doors... lots of character.
apparently not for everyone, but then I guess Denny is still a youngster.Amazing fact of life. Turning 70 something does have a way of making those creature comforts that we all snarled at years ago seem a little more important.
Good cars get you from point A to point B, great cars get you in trouble at the same time.Good cars are for driving during the days. Fun cars are for driving at night or the drag strip!
Dem lil Miatas can't keep up!Broke the rules...
Oops. I fixed itWhat’s point S? I never heard of that before. Am I going to have to learn a new way of giving directions? I’m too old for that!
You’re relieved, I’m relieved. I’m not that smart to learn new things. Was wonderin if that is the new phonetic alphabet and/or the new navigation/GPS guidance cordinate system taught in school. I’m relieved it is not.
