Hello everyone !!!
Bought a used 2 seater Kart of Facebook sales.. we have property I have cut trails in....and wanted a kart for the grandkids to enjoy once they get old enough to drive ! ( OK OK OK) I wanted a kart to drive them in to have fun with them... lol
If any one could help identify this cart and maybe we're I could get replacement parts would be a huge help....
I'm not new to forums I have 1 of the longest threads on GM forum....so any and all help would be appreciated I'd like to learn more about this Kart.....

Looks like a yerf dog to me, maybe spiderbox for the model. OMB warehouse, Go Power Sports, BMI karts are all great places to find kart parts. Most kart parts are generic, and fit lotsa karts. You don’t have sweat particular parts like with cars, get what’s closest to what you need and if it don’t fit send it back or make it fit. Welcome!

I'd like to see what others have done to theirs... and do we know what year they could be ?

I'd like to confirm what axle length is standard... it appears to be that maybe this axle was damaged or broken and re welded lol
The rear tracking width is narrower than the front tracking width

Hey TeamMuir, welcome to the forum. I'm all the way out in the northern part of
San Diego county in the People's republic of California. You could not have done better for a first kart. Especially with Grandkids. Two seater, full suspension, hydrolic brake, torque converter, and a roll cage. PERFECT. I know
I have 5 grandkids, 4 karts ( much like yours ) and a mini bike. And yes I have fun driving the stuff and I'm 75 years old. I'm with BaconBit, I think it's a Spider
Box. The places he listed are all good shops to do business with. I can't tell you how many times the tech guy at OMB Warehouse ( the Grey Goat Garage ) has helped me out over the past few years. If you think you need a new axle, pull the old one out, measure length and diameter and order one. If you want wider it's probably available. I wouldn't go any more than 4" longer because if you get too much unsupported length out there they will bend. If you can change a flat tire on your car, or could fix your bicycle as a kid, then you can fix most any
part of your go kart. Simple. Just keep your eyes open. Looks like you need seats. I have seen many of the spider boxes with 2 high back bucket seats, like the ones you can order from Summit racing or Jeggs. With kids you want belts and harness to keep them IN the kart should there be a mishap, and for sure helmets. My older ones, 17 and 19 like to get going full speed and crank the wheel all the way to see how much they can spin out. Been over a few times.
Never anything more than a scuff mark on the side of the helmet. Lots of good helpful and knowledgeable members here on this forum. There isn't anything that someone here can't help you with should you get in a jam.
