250cc buggy green carberator wire

Hello all,
I was just given a generic 250cc buggy like a cn250 roketa style and there is two green wires and a yellow wire coming from the carb and a sensor next to it but I can’t find where the green wires go? I believe the device one of the green wires goes to on the carburetor is called an auto bystarter. There is a two wire plug on the the other end but not sure what it plugs into. I’ve read somewhere that it’s a resistor that they plug into but I can’t find the part. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m not certain but the go cart will start just not stay running and on the Honda cn250 engine that this is a clone of those wires go somewhere from what I can tell from research. It seems to be an electric choke called an auto bystarter.

IMHO, electric auto chokes are a stupid idea, but it seems you are stuck with it. I'm just as lost as you, I'm going to call in some people better with wiring.

See if this video helps. These "auto-chokes" are basically retracted needles that allow extra fuel into the intake for easier cold starts. As the "choke" heats up the needle extends into the fuel port and restricts flow until the engine runs normally. Look for an unused male connector somewhere near the female connector pictured.

The photo does indeed look to be a auto choke
The second green goes to a temp sensor I guess?
That sensor green says that they aren't using green for chassis ground, at least not strictly.
Look at any other greens on the chassis to confirm or deny.
A good time to use a multimeter to check.

Is that powerplant and chassis all original or some kind of mix and match?

Some use a resistor and some don't.
The auto choke power is typically taken off the magneto stator output, maybe through a resistor and maybe not.
Try looking at the stator output wire harness for a matching connector.

Thank you I’ll check the video out I’ll send a photo there is no unused female connector that’s why I’m stumped.
Also this from what I can tell is a factory go cart based of the Honda cn250 engine and trans system like a roketa gk19 I think.

The large black plastic box at the top of this photo is, I believe, the electrical junction box.
It could be that the missing wiring and connector were stuffed in there.
Pull the cover off and take a look see.

Just an update for everyone who gave me input I appreciate it and all I did was slap a new carburetor on it and battery and it fired right up and ran around the block. Now I just need to clean up the cooling system so we can run it. Thank you guys
